There’s something special about hearing children talk freely about what fascinates them. 💫

A visit to our pre-schoolers today led to a lovely, unprompted chat about all things Foundation. They were very keen to share their current topic, and it’s clear that they are incredibly knowledgeable and have been captivated by Our Amazing Universe. 🌟

Thank you for all the donations we have received so far! 🦁🦓🐅
Yesterday, we completed our Big Toddle for Barnardo’s, with the rain holding off right until the very end! 🌧️✨

Our nursery children walked, ran and jumped their way around the playground in safari masks and fantastic fancy dress. It was wonderful to bring the whole nursery together for such a fun event, and every child received a medal and sticker for their amazing efforts 🏅🌟

The part of this video where she takes the floor with her improvisation. 🥹

We believe that our children should have opportunities for specialist dance teaching, while also having the freedom to explore movement in a safe environment where they can develop confidence and express themselves creatively. 🩰 ✨

🍎Welcome to Nourish at King’s, where we believe our menu should be colourful, diverse and delicious. 🍽️

We are committed to making lunchtime a positive experience for our children, encouraging excellent table manners within a sociable dining environment, whilst also teaching our pupils the importance of sustainability and reducing food waste.

All meals are freshly prepared in-house, and our caterer, Thomas Franks’ ethos centres on creating fresh, high-quality food using locally sourced ingredients. Every menu is reviewed by a nutritionist before being introduced.

Which is your child’s favourite meal? 🫶🏻🍴

At King’s School and Nursery, we proudly celebrated the remarkable milestone of Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday. Through a variety of creative activities and learning experiences, each year group explored and celebrated his inspiring work and lifelong contribution to the natural world.
Reception pupils embraced their artistic talents through nature-inspired artwork, while Year 4 students were inspired by Sir David’s renowned broadcasting style, creating their own wildlife videos and audio recordings.
It has been wonderful to see our pupils engage so enthusiastically with the world of nature and conservation in honour of such an extraordinary figure.
Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David Attenborough!
