🌘✨ Eid Mubarak عيد مبارك

As the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close, we've organised a special celebration for UPIC students at the College this afternoon at 2:30PM.

Join us for some delicious traditional snacks from Yasmin Al-sham Plymouth - the Syrian café at Plymouth Market.

We have another gem from our Day in The Life series! 🤩

Follow Sayara for a full day on campus. Originally from Nepal, Sayara joined us at UPIC in 2023 & is now a final year Business Management student.

She has managed to successfully balance her academic calendar with workshops, networking events & social activities:

“As I approach graduation, I look back with pride. The experiences, challenges, friendships, and achievements have shaped the person I am today. What I contributed to this university community and what I gained from it have equally defined my growth. Plymouth will always be special to me, not just as a place of study, but as the place that helped me become ready for the world.”

International Women’s Day | Sunday 8th March 💖

To celebrate we organised a special catch-up at the University of Plymouth campus café for our students.

It was an opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved hot chocolate (and cupcake), and share inspirational stories of the women in our lives. We talked about iconic global figures like Selena Gomez and Temi Otedola, but one theme surfaced again and again…

The extraordinary impact of our mothers.

We listened to Nicole talk about her mother’s entrepreneurial journey in Zimbabwe, and the medical legacy of Fatema’s grandmother in Bangladesh.

This experience was a beautiful reminder of how generational impact can be a driving force for international student success.

As the situation in the Middle East continues to unfold, our immediate focus is on supporting all staff and students during this difficult time.

We’re working closely with our teams on the ground to ensure they have the assistance and resources they need. We also want to acknowledge that members of our global Navitas community may have family, friends, and cultural connections to countries across the region.

Our thoughts are with all who are affected, directly or indirectly, and we stand ready to support our people and students wherever they may be.
