🌸 SAFEGUARDING & PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP 🌸

When choosing a tutor for your child, I know that trust and safeguarding are just as important as academic ability.

I’m therefore pleased to be a member of The Tutors’ Association (TTA), the UK’s professional membership body for the tutoring and supplementary education sector.

Membership provides an additional layer of reassurance for parents, as tutors are required to meet certain professional and safeguarding requirements.

As part of my TTA membership:

✔️ I submitted two professional references as part of the membership process

✔️ I hold a current Enhanced DBS check

✔️ My DBS is registered on the DBS Update Service

✔️ My DBS status is regularly checked by The Tutors’ Association through the Update Service

✔️ I have agreed to follow The Tutors’ Association Code of Practice

For me, these measures are an important part of creating a tutoring environment where parents can feel confident that their children are being supported by a professional, appropriately vetted tutor who takes safeguarding seriously.

I know that inviting someone to work with your child is a big responsibility, so I want parents to have confidence not only in the tuition I provide, but also in the professional standards behind my business. 🌸

Hi all ☺️

Still currently on my travels 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

On Tuesday, I’ll be turning my work phone back on to sort through messages and easy support requests but I won’t be home until the late evening. Therefore, anything that requires my laptop (Atom access, resource emails, additional invoices, etc) will need to wait until Wednesday early morning 😊

I’m full on Weds 19th, but have some afternoon slots available on Thurs 20th and Fri 21st if anyone would like some boosters 🌟
