A massive well done to all the children that took part in today's cross country at Eggbuckland. They were a credit to the school! There were a couple of children who missed the photo so we will make sure they get in the photo at next event 😊

Welcome to Connect Foundation Stage! 🌟

What a fantastic start to the school year! Nearly 420 of our newest starters have joined our family of schools and we couldn't be prouder of how well they have settled in 💙
From forest school to making new friends, they've already shown so much curiosity, confidence and kindness. A huge thank you to our families for your support and to our brilliant Foundation Stage teams for making every child feel so welcome.

Here's to a wonderful year of learning and fun! 🎒✨

Cross Country News
For the children representing the school on Thursday this week, the event is at Eggbuckland Community College. Sorry this was not clear on the letter. Please do not arrive at the school before 4.15 and it will likely be very busy.

If children are representing the school, they will have brought home a letter. There is also a house competition for cross country soon and some children may have been chosen by their house captains for this event (this event will be at school during a lunch time).
Regards
Mr Williams

🐧 Penguins have had a fantastic start to Year 4! 🌟

The first few weeks have been filled with lots of exciting learning, new experiences and plenty of fun!

🔊 In Science, we have been exploring sound through a variety of fun experiments.
🎨 In Art, we have started our topic on the wonderful Yayoi Kusama, exploring her unique style and ideas.
🎲 In Maths, we have been developing our understanding of place value through practical activities and fun dice games.

We are so proud of how brilliantly Penguins have settled into Year 4 and can't wait to see what the rest of the term brings! 💛
