The Rock Project - Plymouth

Today it was CMG turning up the volume at Tamerton Foliot Carnival with our Plymouth students bringing serious live energy to the arena.

One of our standout young guitarists took it on solo — delivering a performance packed with attitude, control and confidence. From rock-driven riffs inspired by Guns N’ Roses to groove-infused nods to Michael Jackson, she completely held the crowd.

You could feel it building with every section — heads turning, people stopping, the whole space locked in. That’s what live music is about!

What an AWESOME first Open Jam of the year yesterday! 🤘
Huge shoutout to all the young musicians from Plymouth and Exeter — you were absolutely incredible. The energy, confidence, and creativity in the room was next level, and it was amazing to see so many new faces jumping up on stage and getting involved.

We had some brilliant band names making their debut too, including Shame, Caution Wet Patch, Undecided (and plenty more in the making 👀). Big riffs, big vocals, big vibes all round.

If yesterday was anything to go by, 2026 is going to be a HUGE year for our Open Jams.

Rock Project classes have started again and the new term is underway.
Fresh ideas, awesome music, and great vibes already filling the room.
Students are straight into learning songwriting skills — we love the creativity!
