Playbox Nursery

The Playbox Nursery team are on the run again! This time, we are raising money for Cancer Research as we take part in the Plymouth Pretty Muddy 5k race on 19th July. We would really appreciate your support and donations. Thank you ❤️

Playbox team Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.

As a team, we often think of different ideas for team building exercises. Yaz's latest idea was a couch to 5K. In January, Yaz, Donna, Michelle and Claire, along with honorary team member, Louise, all signed up with Plymouth Muskateers RC for their C25K programme. We were all very nervous but were made to feel welcome. Our first run was walking for one minute, then running for one minute x 10. It wasn't easy, but we were supported and encouraged to keep going. We decided to run every Monday evening too, to help our fitness. Nearly every run was done in torrential rain, but we kept going! Donna was away for their C25K final club run, so being the amazing team that we are, we did a Playbox run on the Monday 2nd March. Jo cheered us on on route, Natalie & Leanne met us at the half way point and greeted us at the end with flowers, certificates & much needed chocolate. The final C25K club run was on Thursday 5th March, here we realised that Claire made us run further than 5K on Monday!
We completed the C25K & want to thank everyone that supported us. Claire & Lou will keep up with the running whilst the others have decided to hang up our running shoes and think of something warmer and more sedate for our next team building exercise.......

Panda's Parent and Toddler Group is run by Playbox Nursery, based at Pennycross Methodist Church hall in Peverell (near The Range).
We run every Monday & Thursday 9am - 11am, throughout term time. Prices from £3 per family. No need to book.

A really friendly and welcoming group, where children get to play and learn in a safe and fun environment.

This is the last week of term for Panda's parent and toddler group . Next week is Christmas party week, ticket admission only. Tickets are still available to buy this week, only £5 per child.
