The year 6s enjoyed the disco and football last night. Ezra had a great birthday!
Today, we have had fun at mini golf, tasted lots of cheese and are now on the way home. Fingers crossed for no coach drama!
I’m sure all parents will join me in saying thank you to the staff who have given their time, energy and patience to looking after the children this week. A lot of hard work goes into these trips and they couldn’t happen without such dedicated staff.
We are very proud of the children and how successful this week has been - well done to all!

The ‘revolting children’ loved Matilda the musical!! Unfortunately, our bad coach luck continued as our coach broke down on the way home, meaning a very late night last night waiting for a replacement. We had a lie in this morning and have enjoyed Cheddar caves.

What a treat!

With 68% of our school taking part in this year's Big Walk and Wheel event, we were rewarded with another fantastic BMX stunt show!

A huge shout-out to Angel sharks, who were the class at LVPS with the highest number of children walking, cycling, scooting, roller-skating or travelling actively to school during the event.

It was wonderful to see the admiration and excitement on all of our children's faces as they watched the show. We hope it has encouraged even more children to choose healthier and more environmentally friendly ways to travel to school. We also hope it has inspired some of them to have a go at learning BMX tricks themselves - safely at Plymouth's skate parks and with support from experienced instructors.

A special well done to Mr Bostock for volunteering and reliving his youth on a BMX bike in front of the whole school!

The Year 6 children had a brilliant night’s sleep, much to the teacher’s surprise and delight! Children and adults are now enjoying exploring We the Curious.

Despite a delay this morning, the children have had a great day exploring the zoo and making the most of the outdoor space. They have had dinner and settled into their rooms. The coach company have offered us some compensation because of this morning’s delay which we will spend on the children this week!
