Our yr3 have been reflecting on being halfway through their final year (😭) so naturally we had to jump on this trend!

The first day of our trip was spent braving the snow and shooting street style photography outside the shows on the CFW schedule. Some on the job learning for our lucky students!

🖼️ Yr1 have been busy today, preparing and installing their first exhibition of photography from their first practical unit

📸 From a styling task on the first day of Freshers week, to their first client brief with some personal responses to a product task, the breadth of work on show is diverse and fantastic quality, and the unit isn't over yet!

We had such a great time in Milan with students from FMM, Fashion Design, Interior Design and Styling and Textiles Design last month. We saw the sights, went to the best museums and galleries and ate all the pasta, antipasti and pistachio flavoured things we could find!
Really looking forward to seeing the inspiration from this epic trip in our students projects!

Arts University Plymouth was announced as the Winner for Lecturers & Teaching Quality for South West England at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs). We are celebrating the results of these unique awards, which are selected by students based on reviews submitted by students from across the UK, and winners judged by a panel made up of prospective and current university students.

Arts University Plymouth was also crowned as the University of the Year for South West England, Student Support Winner for South West England and Facilities Winner for South West England. Our brilliant Students’ Union also won Second Place for South West England.

Thanks to our amazing students for once again helping to give national recognition to the university’s amazing facilities, our excellent lecturers and teaching quality, and our fantastic student support services.

Ranked out of over 100 of the UK’s top universities at an awards ceremony presented by actor and comedian Lenny Henry, Arts University Plymouth came fourth place overall in the category of University of the Year and top out of all universities in the South West.

Voted by students, Arts University Plymouth took home fourth place in the Lecturers & Teaching Quality category, third place overall in the Student Support category, and second place in the UK for the Facilities award.
