The Plymouth Primary Tutor - Julie Collier

The Plymouth Primary Tutor - Julie Collier Small group tuition for primary aged children to support learning at:
* Key Stage 1
* Key Stage 2
* The 11+ examination
* SATs Boosting

My name is Julie Collier and I have a BEd (Hons) in Primary Education. I am DBS (enhanced) checked and a member of the NEU. I am located in the north of Plymouth and have a dedicated tutoring classroom. I am an experienced primary school teacher having taught for over 20 years in schools across Devon and Cornwall. I have taught the full primary age range, EYFS to Year 6. I am able to support children with their learning in Maths and English to help them reach their full potential. I have vast experience of administering End of Key Stage 1 and End of Key Stage 2 Statutory assessments (SATs). I currently tutor children to prepare them for the 11+ examinations. Tutoring sessions take place after school during the week, and children are taught in small groups to encourage collaborative learning. The individual learning needs of each child will be met through careful planning to ensure the children have the necessary skills and understanding to make good progress in Maths and English which then leads to success across the curriculum.
