WELCOME TO BUGGY FITNESS PLYMOUTH 💫

We have lots of new members, so we wanted to do a post to make sure you know everything you need to about us.

Buggy Fitness Plymouth is an outdoor parent and baby fitness class, set up by two PT qualified mums that wanted to give other mums within the community the opportunity to exercise without having to worry about childcare. We are about to enter our 7th successful year.

We offer 3 sessions -
⭐️ Monday 10-10.45am
⭐️ Thursday 10-10.45am
⭐️ Saturday 9.30am/10.15am

All classes are held outdoors at Central Park. We charge £3 per session.

We are a completely Non-Judgemental group of people, navigating our way through parenthood each day at a time. As well as offering our expertise on a health and fitness level, we are good listeners if you are having a bad day, we will always try and lighten the mood if you have had some sleepless nights and will always be a shoulder to cry on if you need it. There has been many occasions where we have done the crying, strong friendships have been formed through this group and we will forever be grateful for that.

FAQ’s

❓ Do you have to be fit? No, we offer low impact and beginner style classes to those who need it.
❓ How soon after giving birth can I join? Once you have been given the all clear by your midwife/doctor at the 8 week check up and when you feel “recovered” enough to do so.
❓ Do we need to bring a pram? No, you can use a pram or a baby carrier. We do not do much with the actual pram, you do not need a special running pram.
❓ What if my baby cries? Babies are unpredictable and no two classes will ever be the same, your baby can get out and play, sit on a picnic blanket with snacks, we can push your buggy to try and get your baby to sleep - please don’t worry we work with it.
❓ Is there an age restriction for babies? Absolutely not, older children are welcome at no extra cost. The bigger kids often get involved.
❓ What if I need to cancel? If you left us know by 6pm the evening before the class, we will transfer your class to another day. We will not do this if you cancel on the day, you will lose your credit.
❓ What if it’s raining? We only cancel if the weather is severe, we will find some protection if it is raining, always bring your pram rain cover. If we cancel, we will move your class to another day, if you cancel you will lose your money.

Quick reminder that we will be running a full schedule throughout the summer holidays. We will have our older children with us, and you are welcome to bring yours too!
