I share this beautiful animation every year, please share with your young people! It's such a lovely way to introduce them to understanding the importance and meaning of remembrance.
My Teddies have had such wonderful conversations around this video this week ❤️

'Poppies' is a BBC Children’s remembrance animation. The animation sees The Great War experienced by the animal inhabitants of a WW1 battlefield. Visit us at...

Lots of well-meaning, lovely people leave their pumpkins in parks and woods for the wildlife.
Unfortunately, pumpkin can make some wildlife very sick. Hedgehogs are prepparing to hibernate at this time of year so they will eat as much as they can. When they eat pumpkin, it makes them very very ill and causes diarrhoea, weight loss and dehydration which can be lethal just before hybernation.

Please also check any bonfires for sleeping wildlife such as hedgehogs, before you light them for bonfire night. :)
