🌙📚 Introducing Marine Academy Primary Bedtime Stories! 📚🌙

We are delighted to introduce a brand-new way for our families to end their Sundays together. 💙

Each Sunday evening, we’ll be sharing a special Marine Academy Primary Bedtime Story, with a member of our wonderful staff reading a story for children and families to enjoy together.

So, snuggle up, get cosy, put your feet up and enjoy a little storytime together before the new week begins. 🧸✨

📖 And to launch our very first Bedtime Story, we have Mr Green reading 'A Quiet Night In' by Jill Murphy 🐘 🌟

We hope you enjoy listening together, we can’t wait to share more stories with you each Sunday evening.

Happy listening, ! 🌙💙📚

💙 Member of the Week 💙

Mrs Fradgley was the worthy recipient of this week’s award. She approaches all aspects of her role with wonderful dedication and openness to feedback, ensuring that she provides excellent encouragement and support for every child. She sets high expectations in a warm and nurturing way so that the children can reach their potential and live by life’s highest values. ☺️

We were also thrilled to welcome her to Hot Chocolate Friday to celebrate her positive contribution to Year 1 and across the Academy. 💫

💙 The Great Outdoors 💙

Since the beginning of the academic year, our children have enjoyed using a wide range of new equipment during playtimes and have been planting vegetables to develop their learning about sustainability. 🥕🐍🪜

20% of children's time in school is playtime so we want to ensure that this amount of time (equivalent to 1.4 years of primary school) is as rewarding and enjoyable as possible. 💫

Our Activity Leaders have played an important part in taking responsibility for the equipment and leading a variety of games. 👏
