We are taking this opportunity to celebrate our incredible staff team who make our school such a wonderful place to learn, grow and belong.

A huge thank you to our teachers, support staff, playworkers, admin team and Site Team, all of whom go above and beyond every single day to support our children and families. Their dedication, care and commitment make a difference in countless ways, often behind the scenes, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they do.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who bought cakes from Miss Evans and her daughter at the cake sale. £370 was raised and this all goes directly to Children's Hospice South West, particularly Little harbour, who cared for her Nephew and her family 🤍

We couldn't be prouder to help them raise money for Children's Hospice South West, the wonderful humans who work there and the incredibly special children they care for.

There will be a raffle during each Snow White production with some fabulous prizes on offer 🌟

🎵✨ Introducing Tuesday Tunes! ✨🎵

We are excited to launch Tuesday Tunes at Marine Academy Primary! 🎶

Every Tuesday during Early Morning Learning, children will have the opportunity to sing, play instruments, explore rhythm and make music together in a fun and engaging environment with Miss Sanders. Sometimes it will be musical demonstrations for children to enjoy and dance along to, and other times there will be hands on music activities to get involved with.

Music helps children to:
⭐ Build confidence
⭐ Express themselves creatively
⭐ Develop listening and teamwork skills
⭐ Most importantly... have fun!

From colourful percussion instruments to singing favourite songs, Tuesday mornings are about to become even more exciting. 🎹🥁🎤

We can't wait to see our young musicians learn, grow and shine through music!

🌟 Pre-School Gruffalo Book Hook 📚

Today, our Pre-School children enjoyed a lovely woodland walk and were excited to discover pictures and key words from 'The Gruffalo' hidden along the way!

After their adventure, they gathered around the fire pit to listen to the story together. The children were captivated and are already looking forward to exploring this much-loved book in more detail over the next two weeks.

🎨🚚 Year 3 Explora Mobile Museum - Part 2! 🎨🚚

Today, the Year 3 children enjoyed a fascinating tour of the converted lorry, where they learnt about the stories and inspiration behind a variety of artworks. They also took part in a creative workshop, producing their own abstract pieces inspired by what they had seen.

A huge thank you to Art Explora for providing such an engaging and inspiring experience. The children had a fantastic day and came away full of creativity and enthusiasm for art! 🖌️🎉
