MPower Training has been offering professional vocational training in the Southeast since 2003.

In May 2021, we opened our Plymouth Training centre, which offers Level 3 Diplomas in Makeup, Nails, PT & Beauty Therapy and Level 4 Sports Massage Therapy. raining we are able to provide in Nails, Makeup, Beauty Therapy and Sports Massage. Our Level 3 and 4 Diploma qualifications are accredited by Focus Awards and upon course completion and certification, which enables our Students to obtain business insurance and provide paid services to their clients. All of courses are delivered by fully qualified beauty, makeup, nail & sports massage Tutors with experience in not only education but a wealth of industry experience at the highest levels. In 2020 the government imposed restrictions on the provision of Beauty related services. We did not allow this to prevent our students from completing their courses, we invested in the creation of online training courses, which enabled the students to complete their coursework at home and participate in group practical sessions online until they were able to return to our Training Centre. We have found the blended method of learning both online and in the classroom has given many more students who have personal and work commitments the opportunity to learn new skills when convenient to them. Our Practical classroom workshops are offered on various days of the week to give everyone the opportunity to watch, learn and practice the skills they have studied at home. All of our L3 and 4 Diplomas can be funded through the governments Advanced Learner Loan scheme. This funding is available to all adults over the age 19, it is not mean tested, is not assessed by credit checks or impact future mortgage applications. You only start paying it back when you start earning over £27,295 a year, you do not need to pay a deposit to secure your place and if you complete a creative course with us like, Nails, Makeup or Beauty Therapy, will receive a Students Kit which is worth over £200 to enable you practice the skills you need to pass your qualification.
