Steps for School

📚 The Summer Reading Challenge - Have you signed up yet? 📚

Here's how it works:

✅Children visit their local library, pick up free activity packs, and borrow books.
✅After they have read two books, visit the library to tell us about what they have been reading and collect a sticker.
✅Once they have completed The Summer Reading Challenge, visit the library to receive a medal.
✅They will also receive a certificate, during their school assembly.

We've got loads of brilliant music themed activities and events throughout the summer.

We're excited to welcome children's author Emily Oak to Plymstock library!

📆Saturday 8 August
⌚10.30am to 12pm

Emily will be introducing her beautiful book, It's a Wonderful World, and taking young readers on a journey of discovery through stories, imagination and the wonders of our planet.

Come along to meet the author, hear about her book and enjoy a fantastic literary adventure. Enjoy a craft activity based on the star of her book, Clara the Unicorn.

Suitable for children aged 4-9yrs and their families. No booking required.

Shine a story light for St Luke's Hospice Plymouth!

Join the Plymouth children's book group for a family charity event raising money for St Luke's Hospice Plymouth exploring the painted lighthouse trail, finishing with a cozy storytime and fun craft activities.

Fit and Fed is going on tour! 🍏⚽

Catch the team at Victoria Park this Tuesday for some FREE community activities between 10am and 2pm. There are more dates around Plymouth throughout August.
