🎭 OH YES IT IS! 🎭

We are giddy with excitement to announce that our Friday Academy at PQA Plymouth will be taking part in PROJECT PANTO this term!

Get ready for slapstick silliness, larger than life characters and plenty of audience interaction, as our Friday performers dive headfirst into the wonderful world of British pantomime. Think princes, princesses, baddies and more than a few shouts of "he's behind you!"

Across the term, our Friday stars will build their comedy, physicality and stagecraft skills, devising their very own panto scenes for an informal sharing at the end of term. Break a leg, everyone... oh yes, you will!

And to our Saturday Academy... don't panic, we haven't forgotten you! We have something huge lined up, so watch this space. Curtain up soon!

Celebrating Our Colour Group Graduates 🌟

At the end of term, we celebrated students who have completed their time in their current colour group ✨

It was a chance to stop, reflect and celebrate everything they’ve achieved so far with us here at PQA 💛

Each student graduated into their new colour group, where they’ll keep building on the self belief they’ve created and the fantastic performance skills they’ve developed, all while making even more new friends as they move up to the next stage 🎭

We are so incredibly proud of them for everything they’ve already achieved, and we can’t wait to see what they do next in their new colour groups 🏅

Well done to all of our graduates. You are yourself, and you are amazing 💛

On Friday we said goodbye to our wonderful Film and TV teacher at our Friday academy, Chloe, as she heads off to take on a new full time role.

We will miss her greatly. Chloe’s dedication and passion towards our students has been brilliant. She always goes above and beyond what’s expected of her, making sure every student feels inspired and motivated by film and TV, and recognising that every student’s experience matters.

Thank you for everything, Chloe. You will be so missed.

What a week at PQA Plymouth. Every session our young performers and filmmakers find new ways to surprise us, and this week was no different. The dedication, the heart, the way they look out for one another… it means everything. 💛✨

A massive well done to this week’s award winners, including ALL of our Saturday Red Group! You’ve stood out for all the right reasons and you should be really proud of yourselves.
