Method Monday 🥪 Question 4 is a sandwich. J + E are the bread: your own verdict at the start and a sharper one at the end. U, D, G is the filling: evidence, method, effect.

All bread = opinion with no proof. All filling = a Q2 answer in the wrong place. The top band needs both.

Next Monday: the sentence stems for every step. Save this so you've got the full set. 💚

Text Thursday: the one word that fixes weak analysis ✏️

"Lady Macbeth's repeated washing symbolises her guilt."
True. Sounds clever. But it's only a claim, with nothing holding it up.

Add because and finish the thought:
"...because the compulsive, ritualistic washing represents an attempt to physically undo psychological harm that can't be washed away."

Same idea, completely different mark. Now your reasoning is on the page, not just in your head.

🔁 Try this before you hand anything in: circle every "because" in your essay. If a paragraph hasn't got one, its argument probably isn't finished.
