Here's what Year 11 English actually involves if you study AQA English:

📄 AQA English Language: 2 exams. Reading unseen texts. Writing creatively and to argue/persuade.

📚 AQA English Literature: 2 exams. Set texts studied in class. Power & Conflict poetry anthology.

It's a big step up — and the students who do well are almost always the ones who start September with a clear plan.
