🚴‍♂️⭐ A Year of Determination. One Final Challenge. ⭐🚴‍♂️

At PL6 Learning Hub we are incredibly proud of one of our Year 9 students, Joseph.

Over the last 12 months, Joseph has taken on an extraordinary challenge — 12 rides in 12 months for 12 different charities. Through dedication, resilience and sheer determination, he has cycled hundreds of miles whilst raising an amazing £2,028.69 for causes that make a real difference.

Now he is preparing for his 12th and final ride — an incredible 120-mile journey to Torrington and back in support of Help for Heroes.

As an ex-serviceman, this particular charity is very close to my heart. Help for Heroes provides vital support to veterans and their families, and it means a great deal to see one of our young people choosing to support such an important cause.

At PL6, we often talk about perseverance, kindness and making a positive difference in the world. Joseph has demonstrated all of those values throughout this challenge and has been a fantastic role model for other young people.

We would love our community to get behind him one last time as he takes on his biggest challenge yet.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help support the incredible work of Help for Heroes and give Joseph the send-off he deserves for completing an amazing year of fundraising.

At PL6 Learning Hub, our Friday Morning Primary Group is designed to put education back at the centre of learning in a calm, supportive and nurturing environment.

Unlike many larger primary settings, we focus on small-group, tuition-based learning with a strong emphasis on developing the key skills children need to thrive in English and Maths.
