✨ To our wonderful Year 6’s, as you put on your clothes and get your bag packed to attend Courtlands for the final time, ask your adults to read this to you… ✨

Dear Year 6, it's time to go,
And oh, how much you've helped us grow.
It feels like only yesterday
You came to us to learn and play.

We've watched you build friendships, strong and true,
Looking out for each other, just as you do.
Through smiles and laughter, tears and cheer,
You've filled our school with joy each year.

Each one of you has found your voice,
In your own unique and special choice.
Some through words, some through signs,
Some through actions that brightly shine.

A smile, a wave, a helping hand,
A look that says, "I understand."
However you choose to share your heart,
You've always been an important part.

We've seen you learn that feelings matter,
That every emotion deserves to be heard.
To ask for help, to show you care,
And know that someone will always be there.

You've learnt to keep yourselves safe each day,
At school, at home and out to play.
Making choices kind and wise,
Looking after yourselves and others' lives.

You've mixed and measured, baked and stirred,
Followed recipes, step by step.
There were floury tables, sticky hands,
And proud smiles at what you'd made.

You climbed, explored and gave things a try,
Picked yourselves up and reached so high.
Not because everything came with ease,
But because you never stopped believing.

You left behind the odd lost jumper,
A lonely water bottle or two.
The lost property will miss you almost...
As much as we'll all miss you!

Your kindness has made Courtlands shine,
Your laughter will echo through halls and time.
Every friendship, every smile,
Has made this place worthwhile.

Now it's time to spread your wings,
To discover all that tomorrow brings.
New adventures wait ahead,
With exciting paths to tread.

Wherever life may take you next,
Be proud of who you are.
Keep being kind, keep being brave,
Because that's your greatest strength by far.

Remember, there is no single way to shine,
No single way to speak or learn.

They've done it again!!!

Thing 1 and Thing 2 managed to get their hands on some cream again and caused some more carnage in Parrot Class and on the playground! To end their visit, before they got shipped back in their box, they finished with a little boogie under the trees. I think some of the staff might be glad they're being picked up by Royal Mail ASAP 😂

Uh-oh, trouble is about...

Cat in the Hat has turned up to Courtlands with Thing 1 and Thing 2! The mischievous Things came to Dolphin Class with a helper and put cream in Miss Way's face - Dolphin Class found this hilarious. Thing 1 and Thing 2 finally left and went back to Cat in the Hat - hopefully they won't get up to any more mischief 😸

🤩 CELEBRATE AND SAY THANKS 🤩

As we are coming to the end of this academic year, we would love to celebrate our amazing staff for all their hard work and dedication. If you would like to share a thanks to a member of staff/a team of people, please comment below.

Our staff work tirelessly to support our pupils and give them the best they can so let’s give them an end of year boost with only just over a week to go until we break up for the year ✨

☀😎Summer Carnival - TODAY☀😎

An email was sent out to all families yesterday with further information on today’s Carnival.

1.15-1.45 Blue and Red House (Penguin, Parrot, Dolphin, Owl, Hedgehog, Whale)

2-2.30pm Yellow and Green house (Badger, Polar Bear, Turtle, Tiger, Octopus and Sea Lion)

You are able to take your child home with you once their slot has finished. Please inform transport.

Can you help?

We will have a donation table at our Summer Carnival on Thursday 9th July. This donation table is for our community pantry, that is looking a bit bare again 😔

If you have any non-perishable food items that you wish to donate, please bring them along to the carnival and drop them off at the designated table.
