On Wednesday, Year 1 enjoyed a lovely ‘Our Area’ walk as part of our Geography unit. 🗺️
We were very excited to wear our high-vis jackets as we explored our local area! The children worked brilliantly with their partners, carefully drawing and following our route on a map.

Their behaviour was exceptional, and they truly were their Boringdon Best throughout the walk. 🌟
A big thank you to all the parents and grandparents who accompanied us and helped make the walk such a success. We really appreciate your support!

🌱 Year 3 | Science Investigations 🔬

Our Year 3 scientists have been busy setting up fair investigations to discover the conditions plants need to grow and survive!

Working collaboratively, pupils planted seeds and explored what happens when we remove one essential condition: air, water, soil, light or heat.

We’ll be observing our investigations and recording our findings over the coming weeks. We can’t wait to see what happens! 🌻

Year 5 and Year 6 enjoyed a performance by drama students from Hele’s School, exploring some of the worries children may have about the transition to secondary school. Following the show, Year 6 took part in a workshop, using drama activities to consider solutions to potential challenges. They also valued the opportunity to chat with the students and ask questions about life at secondary school.

Dr Bike – Free Bike Repairs 🚲

Children are invited to bring their bikes into school on Monday 5th October for a free safety check and repair by Dr Bike.

This is a great opportunity to get your child’s bike checked, serviced and repaired completely free of charge, helping to keep them safe and confident when cycling.

Please bring bikes into school on Monday 5th October. Bikes will need to be stored on the grass opposite the Preschool.

This is the first day of Cycle to School week where we encourage all pupils to cycle or scoot to school.
