With the recent spell of warm weather and higher temperatures expected to continue, we would like to ensure that all children remain safe, comfortable and able to enjoy their time at school.
We kindly ask that you apply a suitable sun cream to your child before they arrive at school each morning.
Please also ensure that your child brings a named water bottle to school every day so they can stay well hydrated. In addition, a sun hat is strongly recommended to help protect them during outdoor learning and playtimes.
To help keep children comfortable in the heat, they are permitted to wear their PE kits for the rest of the week.
We will continue to provide shaded areas and encourage regular water breaks throughout the day. In addition, we may shorten PE lessons, breaktimes and lunchtimes if we feel that the weather is too hot for children to be outside safely.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and make any further adjustments needed to ensure all children remain safe.
Thank you for your support in helping us keep all children safe in the warm weather โ๏ธ
