Today the Freshlings team celebrated World Book Day with the children by dressing up as characters from their favourite books! 📖✨

🧸💛 Celebrating Pudsey Day at Nursery! 💛🧸
Today our staff and children came to nursery in their cosiest pyjamas and brought along their favourite teddies for a special Teddy Bears’ Picnic!

We had a fantastic time taking part in lots of Pudsey-themed craft activities and celebrating this special day together. ✨🐻

What a fang-tastic week we’ve had celebrating Halloween! Our little pumpkins have enjoyed a week full of spooky stories, creative crafts, messy play, and lots of fancy dress fun! 🕸️🧙‍♀️🕷️

In line with the University’s commitment to supporting Fairtrade (we’re proud to hold a 2-star Fairtrade University rating ⭐⭐), some of our children took part in some fun and meaningful activities during Fairtrade Fortnight.
We explored Fairtrade produce, learning where bananas and cocoa beans come from, how they grow, and how they make their way to our supermarkets. The children drew their own bananas, cocoa beans, and even Fairtrade chocolate!

These creative activities help children start learning early on what Fairtrade means and why supporting it matters.

Freshlings had the Pre-School (Ladybird) Graduation yesterday to celebrate all the children who are leaving to go to school 😊

We are looking for a Deputy Room leader for our Pre school room to join our fun-loving child centred team at our outstanding day nursery.

At Freshlings nursery everyday is a new adventure, we could be building dens, exploring messy play or dancing like dinosaurs. We are passionate about making magical moments and a safe nurturing space where children can thrive.

Your mission should you choose to accept it
* Be a second in command superstar
* Support your room leader and step up with confidence when needed.
* lead with laughter and learning, creating exciting activities that help our little ones grow.
* work closely with our amazing team and families to make every child feel valued , heard and happy.
*Keep things running smoothly, safely and full of sparkle.

You will need
*A Level 3 qualification in Early years (or equivalent)
*Experience working in a nursery setting as a deputy room leader
*Leadership skills that shine and a passion for early years education

In return you will:

*20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, in addition an extra day per year for a max of 5 years, Christmas closure
