St. Edward's Primary School and Nursery

A lovely week at St Edward’s and so much to celebrate across our school family. Do check out our newsletter! https://sway.cloud.microsoft/iDEX8ULeD8ycQPkR?ref=Link

A real highlight was welcoming our Nursery and Foundation families for a charity Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. The children brought so much joy with their singing, dancing and nursery rhymes and it was wonderful to share such a special morning together.

We have also launched the St Edward’s Scoop, with our new pupil journalists helping to bring families a round up of the week from the children’s point of view.

There has been a real buzz around learning, particularly reading and it has been lovely to see the children so settled, focused and enthusiastic as the term continues.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We are very proud of our school community and look forward to all that lies ahead.

This afternoon, some of our children attended a city-wide indoor rowing competition where they were up against 13 other schools. They did brilliantly in their individual races and finished 5th overall in the team race. It was great to see the children support, encourage and cheer each other on throughout.

On Monday, 6 KS2 children took park in the Change for Life Festival at Marjons. Its was a full and exciting day of teamwork and challenge. The Ninja Warrior course was a popular activity with St Edward’s coming in 1st place on the day! All represented the school exceptionally!
