🎪 CIRCUS WORKSHOP 🎪

Last week, we took circus to a whole new level!

As part of the Vixen community, our students get access to exclusive guest teachers, workshops and experiences just like this one — giving them the chance to try something new, challenge themselves, build confidence and, most importantly, have fun with their friends.

We teamed up with Mark from Queenie and The Jester , a local professional circus artist with an incredible range of skills and equipment, to give our students the opportunity to explore even more of the circus world.

Many of our students got to develop their existing skills further, while others were introduced to completely new circus skills — and they absolutely loved it!

And this is only the beginning…

We’ve got some very exciting plans for circus at Vixen. 🎪

Keep your eyes peeled… 👀

What makes Vixen, well… Vixen?

From aerial, acrobatics & hand balancing to circus, musical theatre, exams and shows, there’s a lot happening at Vixen Dance & Circus!

But it’s not just about the skills we teach. We’re passionate about helping our students build strength, confidence, independence and a genuine love for what they do — all while learning in a supportive and encouraging environment.

We believe in safe progression, supportive training and giving our students the opportunity to discover just how much their bodies can do. But most importantly, we want our students to have fun, make friends and create memories along the way.

This is Vixen.

And when you see it all together… we actually do a LOT! And that’s only the beginning…. 👀

From the big skills to the little details, there’s something for everyone at Vixen. How many can you spot? 🦊

✨EXAMS✨

We’re incredibly proud to share that since introducing exams here at Vixen in 2023, we have achieved a 92% distinction rate across the board! Even more wonderfully, we’ve achieved over 90% distinctions for the third year running across Aerial, Acro and Acro Dance🌟 Acrobatic Arts Inc Aerial Arts

This is a reflection of the hard work, dedication and commitment of our amazing students, and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them. Our aim is always to create a calm, positive and nurturing environment where students feel supported, confident and able to be their very best, especially when it comes to exams. We know how unsettling exams can be and we are here to do everything we can to help you feel encouraged to do your very best. We’re so proud to be part of the students journies and to watch them grow, develop and achieve things they can be proud of☺️

Behind the scenes, training, planning and preparation✨

All the things you don’t see! Time, energy and all of the thought and consideration that goes into classes, lesson planning, events, shows and performance etc, the list goes on!

We want to provide our students with as much opportunity and training that we can give. In order to do so as teachers we stay up to date with our own teacher training and standards so we can deliver just that! 🤗

Over the summer Miss Bella took a trip over to the US and Canada to complete her Advanced Hoop Aerial Arts training with Aerial Arts as well as undertaking opportunities to learn and train alongside some amazing professional artists to develop her skillset. Miss Evie is currently on a 3 month professional course in London My Aerial Home and took the opportunity earlier in the year to train and teach in some other parts of the world, where she was able to learn, watch and train with some incredible professional artists from around the world.

We truly value the importance of teacher development and ongoing training. Continuing to learn, grow and develop our knowledge allows us to teach with confidence and give our students the very best experience possible. There is always something new to discover, and the learning never stops!💫🌟
