This is the sixteenth session in the Twilight Shifts Emergencies Series: Anaphylaxis

This will be an in-depth session covering presentation, investigations and management of anaphylaxis with some interactive cases at the end! A topic that’s very likely to come up in exams!

The session is scheduled for 7:30pm on Tuesday 28th March. Zoom link to be sent out following sign up.

Our Sessions are designed to run less than 30 minutes (including interactive cases at the end).

These sessions are designed with Year 4 and final medical students in mind (as the content is targeted for exams and F1), but will be accessible to any keen healthcare students regardless of year/ occupation.

Hello everyone! sorry for the lack of sessions recently unfortunately we’ve had teacher sickness but we’re back up and running with an excellent session TONIGHT!!

This is the fifteenth session in the Twilight Shifts Emergencies Series: endocrine emergencies

This is a very useful session covering topics that frequently come up in exams and that are often seen clinically!! Topics covered inc hyper and hypoglycaemia, DKA and Addisonian crisis! There will also be some interactive cases!

This is the twelfth session in the Twilight Shifts Emergencies Series: Acute abdomen, GI bleeding and Urology

This will be an in-depth session covering a breadth of topics including: Acute abdomen - Appendicitis, Acute Pancreatitis, Bowel Obstruction, Gastrointestinal Perforation, Biliary Colic (gall stones) and Acute Cholecystitis. GI bleeding - Ruptured AAA, Oesophageal Varices, Peptic Ulcers, Mallory-Weiss Tear, Diverticulitis and Ischaemic Colitis. Urology - Pyelonephritis, Testicular Torsion, Acute Urinary Retention and Renal Stones.
