Is your child due to start secondary school next year?
Now is the time to start thinking about your child moving from primary to secondary school.
If your child was born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014 and are in Year 6, they are now eligible to apply for a secondary school place.
All the information you will need about secondary school admissions for 2025 is on our website. You can apply online for school places and read the guide for parents which contains the links to the individual school’s admission policies and forms.
All Plymouth’s 18 secondary schools hold ‘open events’ for families to visit the school and speak to staff. Please refer to the individual schools websites for dates and further information.
The deadline to apply is 31 October. ➡ www.plymouth.gov.uk/schooladmissions

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
It's that time again when we start to get busy at the Uniform Store so need some extra pairs of hands to help out to keep up with demand.
Do you have one day a week (or even half a day) during the summer holidays to come and help out at the Uniform Store Plymouth? We are looking for volunteers to help us from Tuesday 23rd July to Friday 30th August to help with customer service, sorting donations, hanging & steaming clothes.
We need help on Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday's from 9.30am to 3pm (you can also do half day). Even if you can only one or two days during the 6 weeks, we would also love to hear from you.
If you are interested please send us a DM or email us on [email protected]
We will also consider young people under 18, especially those who are doing their DofE or those would like to gain some retail experience.
