FOR THE BIG GARDEN BIRDWATCH WE LOOKED AT DIFFERENT TYPES OF GARDEN BIRDS, THEN MADE BINOCULARS AND TRIED TO SPOT THEM IN THE GARDEN!

One of our children engaging in a next step activity and loving "cutting hair" as he polishes his use of one handed tools. This was a very closely supervised two grown up activity!

This week we are learning about night and day. We learn what routines we do when we get up, and what do we do when we go to bed..We learned that there are different stages of the moon, and made our dream jars.
We learnt about day and night time animals too.

We are very lucky to know an incredible farmer who let us visit today yo see some of the new arrivals. It was fabulous to see the children's confidence in an unfamiliar setting and with some quite large animals. The children were so polite and gentle with the animals, it made me so proud if them.
