🐢🌊 Keeping Our Beaches Clean & Caring for Turtles! 🐢💙
Our little learners have been carrying on exploring the importance of keeping our beaches clean and looking after the wonderful creatures that live in our oceans! 🌍🐠
Through fun, hands-on activities, the children have been learning about sea turtles, where they live and why it is so important to protect them. We have spoke about how litter, especially plastic and foodwaste, can find its way into our oceans and cause harm to turtles and other sea animals. 🐢
The children discovered how simple actions, such as putting rubbish in the bin, recycling and keeping our beaches clean, can make a big difference to our environment and the animals that call it home. ♻️🌊
Next week we’ll be exploring the topic of autumn, which means there’s a big possibility we’ll be hunting for muddy puddles! Please can we remember the wellies, coats and spare clothes as the weather changes 🍂 🌧️
