Today we came together for a wonderful Leavers' Service to celebrate our amazing Year 6 pupils as they prepare to begin their exciting journey to secondary school.

The children shared what they have learnt and enjoyed during their time at Rushall School, their favourite memories and what they are looking forward to in the future. It was a lovely opportunity to reflect on their achievements and celebrate all they have accomplished. We also enjoyed hearing them sing their chosen leavers' song 'Don't Stop Me Now.'

We would also like to wish the children in the lower years, who are moving on to new schools, the very best of luck. We wish them happiness and success in their new adventures.

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us today and celebrate with our children.

We wish all of our families a happy, safe and restful summer break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Wednesday 2nd September for the start of another exciting school year!

🌟 We are incredibly proud of our Year 5 and Year 6 children for their fantastic performance of 'Gigglebox' this evening! 🎭

Their confidence, enthusiasm and hard work shone through from start to finish and they truly put on a wonderful show. Well done to every single child for all of the effort they have put in over the past few weeks – you were amazing!

A huge thank you also goes to our parents and carers for your continued support. We are so grateful for your help with providing costumes and encouraging the children as they learned their lines. Your support played a big part in making this production such a success.

Well done, Year 5 and Year 6 – you should all be very proud! 👏⭐

A huge well done to all of the children who took part in our Sports Day today! 🌞🏅

The children completed a carousel of fun activities before competing in the egg and spoon race, sack race and running races. Despite the very warm temperatures, they showed fantastic determination, enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the day. We are so proud of every single one of them!

A special congratulations goes to Red House, who finished the day with the highest number of points. Well done! ❤️

Thank you to all of the parents, family members and friends who came along to cheer on and support the children.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful PTFA for providing cold drinks, ice lollies and ice creams, which were very much appreciated by everyone.

What a fantastic morning of fun, friendship and sporting achievement! 🌟

🌟 A huge congratulations to everyone who performed at our Summer Concert this evening! 🌟

What a wonderful evening of music and entertainment! We were treated to fantastic solo and group singing, as well as performances on the piano, guitar, recorder and glockenspiel.

We are incredibly proud of every single performer. The courage, confidence and determination you showed by stepping onto the stage and performing in front of your parents, carers, family and friends was truly inspiring. You should all be so proud of yourselves!

A big thank you to everyone who came along to support our talented pupils and helped make the evening so special. We'd also like to say a huge thank you to our PTFA for kindly providing tea, coffee and cold drinks.

Four of our service children attended The Festival of Friends event on Friday at the Tidworth Garrison Theatre. The Festival of Friends is an innovative, year-long project aimed at strengthening provision for Service Children across Wiltshire’s schools.

They visited five stations throughout the morning:
• Exhibition stands
• Kings Royal Hussairs
• Military stands / vehicles
• Seekers Create workshop
• Juggling workshop

They then took their seats in the auditorium for the official ceremony, where they listened to some inspirational guest speakers who talked about Military life and the key role military families play in the Armed Forces. The children were then called up to the stage to receive a certificate before ending the day with a wonderful juggling performance from the marvellous Tommy J.

🌞 School Open as Usual Tomorrow 🌞

We are pleased to confirm that, as the extreme weather warning has now been reduced from Red to Yellow, school will be open as usual tomorrow. All normal school attendance rules will apply to the children .

All of our hot-weather arrangements will remain in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils and staff:

✅ Children may wear PE kit, cool school uniform, or a mixture of both.
✅ Children may wear either trainers or other closed-toe shoes.
✅ During break times, children will be cared for in shaded areas or cooler parts of the building.
✅ All sports activities and active playtimes remain suspended.
✅ Children will have access to water throughout the day and will be regularly reminded to drink.
✅ Whenever children are outside, even in shaded areas, they will be asked to wear their caps.

☀️ Please remember to apply sunscreen before school.

With the arrival of lovely summer weather and the heat wave forecast for this coming week, children may come to school in either PE kits or uniform, or a mixture of both in order to stay cool and comfortable. For example: a polo shirt or PE tshirt and navy, black or grey shorts or a school summer dress. Sandals/ school shoes or trainers may be worn but please no flip flops so that children can still run and play!

Children will be reminded to wear their school caps and have plenty of drinks during the day.

Please apply suncream before coming to school.

On particularly warm days, children will be encouraged to stay in the shade or even inside cooler parts of the school at playtimes.

We will be in touch with parents on Monday with any potential changes to sports day.
