A huge thank you to our lovely practitioner Vicky for creating this fantastic veterinary role play set up for the children!

The children have absolutely loved stepping into the role of vets, caring for the animals, giving check-ups, wrapping bandages, and using their imaginations through play. Role play experiences like this support communication and language, confidence, empathy, and social development.

We were inspired by our wonderful local veterinary services and the important role they play within our community. It has been lovely to see the children so engaged and eager to help their furry patients feel better. 🐱

We had a lovely morning today on our Family Spring Walk around the Petersfield Heath, enjoying the fresh air and looking out for signs that Spring is on its way! It was wonderful to have our whole nursery out exploring together, and even more special that some of our families were able to join us too. Experiences like this help children to learn about the world around them, develop their physical skills and build strong connections with their friends, practitioners and families. Thank you to everyone who came along and made the morning so enjoyable! 🌷

Butterflies arrived in some fantastic costumes for World Book Day today! 📚 The children enjoyed a range of book-themed activities including messy play, crafts and outdoor adventures inspired by their favourite stories. Everyone also had great fun voting for their favourite practitioner costume – and the winner was Vicky, who dressed as the witch from Room on the Broom! 🧙‍♀️✨

Our Ducklings had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day today! 📚 We enjoyed sharing lots of lovely stories with our grown-ups, exploring exciting story sacks, and getting stuck into a super fun Tiger Who Came to Tea themed playdough activity. It was a fantastic day full of imagination, storytelling and creativity!

Through Valentine’s activities, Pancake Day experiences and Lunar New Year celebrations, the children explored culture, traditions, maths, language and creativity. For Kindness Day, we proudly gave out flowers to our local community, supporting Personal, Social and Emotional Development and helping children understand empathy, respect and belonging.

This morning we stepped aboard our very own Polar Express and enjoyed a truly magical Christmas Eve morning at nursery.
The children loved coming in wearing their cosy pyjamas, snuggling up with a warm cup of hot chocolate, and sharing special festive moments with their friends.
