Save the date Saturday 18th May 2024
How do you fancy learning how to turn household waste into gorgeous things? We are planning our very first FREE community family Recycling Roadshow, and the very first to ever come to Portchester. The day will be packed with mixed media creativity to cover the 5x main house hold materials. If you're a creative, a destroyer or a musician - then there is something for everyone. Acoustic open mic sessions will be powered by solar panel, so all are welcome to take to the stage. we'll be inviting you to bring your yogurt pots and punnets to help mangle them flat so we can attempt to build a replica of the GIANT GOLOT POWER PYRAMID. And on the ground we'll be creating a large HEALING EARTH MANDALA. Then smaller projects will include making PAPER BEADS and SODA CAN EMBOSSING and PRINTIN. Converting GLASS TO SAND. There will be a talk on soil health and the chance to plant an acorn. In the wellbeing tent a chance to taste SOUND BATH and YOGA. And creating CRISP PACKETS into fabric and making tee-pees. Then finally no festival is a party with a DIRTY DISCO as we clear up after the event 😍🤪
