🌿💚 This morning at Petersfield we had such a fun experience at the local Physics Garden!

🌼🌳 It’s such a peaceful place, run by wonderful volunteers who create a calm and relaxing space for everyone to enjoy 💚

🍃 We had our snack at the lovely little hut at the end of the gardens, chatting about all the different flowers we could see 🌸🌻 Everyone sat so beautifully and really enjoyed the moment 💚

🌿 After our snack, we took a walk around the gardens, exploring the different allotments filled with a variety of plants and flowers 🌱🌺

We even spotted some wildlife along the way! 🐞🦋

💚 The volunteers were so kind and accommodating, which made the experience even more special for the children 😊

📚🐣 Egg’stra Special Day at Petersfield! 🐣📚

Our Petersfield setting had a fantastic morning at the local library, taking part in an “Egg’stra Easter Extravaganza” story time! 💚✨

The children loved diving into books, listening to magical stories, and sharing lots of smiles along the way 📖💚🌿

What a wonderful way to kick off the Easter holidays, full of imagination, learning, and joy! 🐰💚🌼

🌿 What’s in the Box? 🌿

🎁✨ A fun and engaging sensory activity to spark curiosity and conversation in our Petersfield Setting this morning.

This activity encourages children to explore, ask questions, and develop language and thinking skills through hands-on discovery. 🌱

We introduced a mystery box with a hidden objects inside

Children take turns feeling the object without looking, we use open-ended questions to guide thinking and discussion

💚 Use descriptive words like soft, hard, rough, smooth
💚 Speak in sentences to share ideas and guesses
💚 Build confidence when talking in a group
💚 Practice listening and turn-taking
💚 Make connections to real-life experiences
