This week is World Food Day so we decided our Book of the Week would be the lovely Munch Crunch Dinosaur Lunch which the children really enjoyed.
Our craft today was the children choosing what foods they liked to eat and sticking them onto their plates…we had some interesting answers as to what their favourites foods were!

Whizz Kid Wednesday was all about rockets shooting off into the air. The children love this experiment and get so excited to see the rocket flying into the air. Lots of fun and laughter had by all.

🚀🌖This week is World Space Week. Our Book of the Week is “Whatever Next” which the children have loved listening to.
The children then went to the craft table to create their own moon and stars pictures where they talked about how we might get to the moon and all about night and day. Lots of lovely conversations.
PE time was scarf dancing zooming to the moon in our rockets. What a busy day🚀🌖

Today we continued our Wild Animal theme and Whizz Kid Wednesday saw Mrs Bentley and Luke experimenting with the animals to see the different footprints they made in the playdough. The children enjoyed talking about the different animals and where they might live. Lots of conversation and a fun activity.

We would like to introduce Luke who has kindly offered to volunteer for us on a Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Luke is Level 2 qualified holds a Paediatric First Aid qualification and is also trained in Level 3 Safeguarding. Welcome to Peter Pan Luke, we hope that you enjoy your time with us.

This weekend is World Animal Day so our Book of the Week is The Tiger who came for Tea, one of our favourites. The children made jam sandwiches to taste and take home and the children then handed out sandwiches to the Church Members (luckily no tiger visited to eat them all) who had a coffee morning in the foyer who all said how delicious they were.
