The introduction of a vintage tape measure to our block area sparked an interest in numbers, counting and measuring. Our amazing children even started to use loose parts as a tool to measure different things around the setting.

Our children showed amazing hand and eye co-ordination, bilateral skill and a whole lot of focus and concentration today! (The conkers were later used for threading)

What fun! We have been listening to Vivaldi's 'Autumn' whilst painting, using autumnal colours. The children responded to the music by painting their hands and feet and dancing on the paper. They created the most beautiful, collaborative, autumnal masterpiece.
