I just completed a 4-day course 'Dyslexia Level 3' with the British Dyslexia Association (BDA).

Thanks to this great, comprehensive course I've increased my already existing

- Knowledge on Dyslexia

- Dyslexia-friendly teaching

🇬🇧 English is NOT an easy language when it comes to reading, writing and spelling.

There are many pronunciation rules.

And many words are not pronounced according to rules.

The fact that there are many exceptions to the pronunciation rules creates quite a challenge for the 20 % of English native speakers who are Dyslexic.

But don't give up 🤞

Dyslexia-friendly teaching, encouragement and a student's perseverance can, hopefully, help Dyslexics a lot.

🇩🇪 German (my mother tongue) and 🇮🇹 Italian have few pronunciation rules 😃 - and very few words aren't pronounced according to these rules 😃

🇨🇵 French has many pronunciation rules - but very few words aren't pronounced according to these rules 😃

Thus don't be discouraged from learning
