As you know, I go on about the links between behaviour and pain. Sometimes it can be really hard to work out where the pain is coming from. Tethered cord syndrome is a condition that is not well known, and is extremely difficult to diagnose. I have recently been on a journey with a client where this painful condition was diagnosed thanks to her diligence and persistence. Her dog has been operated on and is in the recovery stages. When pain free this wee dog presents very differently and becomes the sweet dog he is.

Happy Easter to all. Have a restful, peaceful holiday.
I am working with a truly lovely dog at the moment. She has had a very traumatic past and needs a forever home with experienced people. She is Bully/ Boxer cross - we think but much more Boxer nature.
She has been through a tough time and still loves all humans even the little ones. I am offering my time free of charge to anyone who adopts her. You will have to be vetted by the rescue and me. I can give more info to anyone who shows interest.

I often get astonished looks from clients when I suggest that throwing a ball to exercise your dog can be harmful. Hello, fellow Aberdeenshire snow-bound people. The snow is very restrictive in what we can do with our dogs. Short jaunts outside, then some novelty and enrichment inside. Feel free to share any ideas you have, I am running out :)
