✨ A Little Update From The Fox & Fern Day Care - Prices & Ofsted Update✨

Firstly, we would like to apologise for the recent inactivity on our page. We have been navigating illness and some family circumstances behind the scenes, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience, kindness, and understanding during this time.

We are now very excited to share that our inspection date is imminent at the beginning of July, meaning registration should shortly follow afterwards. Once registration is officially in place, we will be able to begin allocating spaces to families currently on our waiting list 🦊🌿

As part of our preparations, we are also sharing our updated rates below.

Please note:
Funded hours are paid directly by the government and are not charged to parents. Private rates apply to non-funded hours and privately paid sessions.

✨ Fees & Funding Rates ✨

9 months – 2 years
• Government funded rate: £11.42 per hour
• Private rate: £12.50 per hour

2 years
• Government funded rate: £8.44 per hour
• Private rate: £10.00 per hour

3–4 years
• Government funded rate: £6.04 per hour
• Private rate: £7.00 per hour

We are working incredibly hard behind the scenes to create a calm, nurturing, Montessori-inspired environment where little ones can feel safe, secure, and truly thrive.

🌿 Outdoor Space Update 🌿

We’ve been busy behind the scenes at The Fox & Fern getting our garden ready for summer ☀️
Our new wooden climbing frame is starting to come together, creating a beautiful, natural space for children to explore, climb, balance and build confidence through play 🤍

Outdoor play is such a big part of our days - encouraging independence, physical development and curiosity in a calm, home-from-home environment. I’m so excited to see this space come to life and be enjoyed by the little ones 🌱

We have a bark delivery this week and hope to have a party in the garden soon! Soon it’ll be ready for little boots!
