Today in Lions and Cheetahs, we made our very own chapati-inspired playdough! 🌾

The children enjoyed grinding the seeds and adding them to the dough, exploring the different textures, smells and sounds along the way. We listened to Indian music as we played, creating a lovely sensory and cultural experience.

We also talked together about how chapati is made, how the dough is shaped and how it is cooked. The children had lots of opportunities to explore, experiment and use their senses while developing their understanding of this traditional food 🫓🎶

We are excited for our upcoming Grandparents stay and play week in October.

Our stay and play sessions allow a chance for you to come into the nursery for an hour and spend time within your child's playroom. The staff will have lots of activities planned throughout the week for you to join in with.

Today, our staff had just as much fun as the children getting into the spirit and dressing up as some much-loved Roald Dahl characters! 🍫📖

We had Miss Trunchbull, alongside Amanda Thripp and Lavender from Matilda 🏫

We were also joined by James and the Peach from James and the Giant Peach 🍑, Mr W***y Wonka from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 🍫🎩, and, of course, The Twits! 👓🧹

What a fantastic way to celebrate the wonderful world of Roald Dahl! 📚✨

Today, as part of Roald Dahl Day, the children in Babies have been getting creative with James and the Giant Peach 📖

The children enjoyed printing with apples, exploring the texture, shape and colours while creating their own peachy masterpieces. 🍑🎨

Apply for Junior school place if your child is born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 and attends infant school.
