🎀 3 vocal tips for singing β€œHopelessly Devoted to You” πŸ’•πŸŽΆ

A beautiful performance by my student Niya singing Hopelessly Devoted to You by Olivia Newton-John from Grease. ✨

Want to sing this song with that emotional, effortless sound? Here are 3 vocal hacks to try:

🎢 1. Do not push the high notes
Keep the sound light and supported. Think of sending the voice forward rather than forcing it upwards.

πŸ’¨ 2. Breathe before the emotion disappears
Plan your breaths so that you can keep the long phrases connected and expressive. A good breath can completely change the way a phrase feels.

❀️ 3. Sing the story, not just the notes
This song is full of vulnerability. Think about the meaning of every phrase and let the emotion guide your voice. Technique gives you control - emotion gives the song life.

And most important - enjoy singing! 🌟 When technique and confidence come together, singing becomes pure joy.
Well done, Niya! I am so proud of your progress. 🎀❀️

🎀 3 tips for singing Tina Turner songs πŸ”₯

1️⃣ Find your singing mask - use your resonance to create a bright and powerful sound without pushing.
2️⃣ Do not take too much air - controlled breathing will help you sing with more ease and strength.
3️⃣ Use distortion in moderation - add grit and emotion to your voice while keeping it healthy and controlled.

Tina Turner’s voice was full of power, passion and personality. Learn the technique, then make the song your own! ✨🎢
