Hei Hei, Rhubarb and Custard are a month old today and getting so big - in just over a week they should be ready to move to their outside coop ❤️ 🐥 🐓

Today we said a very sad good bye to our Mehreen 🥹
Mehreen has worked very hard to complete her level 3 qualification with us and we wish her all the best in her new job.
Good Luck Mehreen from all the team at RAFAKidz Wittering ❤️ we will miss you lots 🥰

We had a lovely little visitor in our nursery garden today 🐸

The children were so excited to see a real frog up close – lots of curiosity, gentle watching, and great conversations about nature 🌿

We carefully placed our little visitor into our nature pond area, which we created last week during our holiday club. A perfect new home! 💚

Moments like these are such a wonderful way for children to connect with the natural world 🌍

🌼🐝 World Bee Day Celebration at Nursery 🐝🌼
Our little learners had a buzzing good time celebrating World Bee Day! 🎨 The children explored the importance of bees by painting beautiful, colorful bee pictures and getting creative with their artwork.
Through this fun activity, they learned how bees help flowers grow and why they are so important to our environment. 🌸💛
We’re so proud of their creativity and curiosity—future nature protectors in the making! 🌍✨

The chicks are a week old now and their feathers are coming through nicely - very settled in their home (a bit spoilt though 😂)

Three chicks have hatched from the eggs we’ve been carefully looking after!

Our manager Vicky is keeping them all together and giving them a loving home 🏡

We had a very special moment at nursery today… our very first chick has hatched! 🐣✨
The children have been so excited, taking turns to visit and see the tiny chick up close. It’s been wonderful watching their curiosity and hearing their questions as they made the connection between the egg and a chick being born.
A lovely real-life learning experience that brought lots of smiles and a little bit of magic to our day 💛

Tonight, our practitioners took part in SEN training delivered by two wonderful members of Peterborough’s Local Authority SEN team.

The session was incredibly informative and has strengthened our knowledge and confidence, enabling us to support the children in our care to an even higher standard.

We’re committed to continuous learning to ensure every child receives the best possible support 💙

Today brought a little bit of magic to our Baby Bear room 🐻✨

While exploring our caterpillars, one of the children pointed excitedly—and to our surprise, a beautiful butterfly had emerged! 🦋

The children were absolutely fascinated, watching in awe and sharing in the excitement of this special moment. It’s been such a lovely way to experience nature and change together.
