Today we enjoyed a visit from Woodland Julie’s Wonders we made delicious apple juice using Woodland Julie’s apple presser.
The children helped Julie Prepare, cut, smash and twist the apple presser - Thank you Julie for such a educational and fun morning 😁🍎

Swans, slides, parachute and football fun at Ferry Meadows today!!
🛝We enjoyed racing each other down the slide and trying different ways to go down.
⚽️Played football, kicking throwing and chasing the ball.
🏃Lots of just running, running and more running.
🪂 Singing action songs with our parachute and making up lots of our own games - hiding, pulling each other on it and spinning with it😁
🎂Birthday picnic lunch.

Our nature kitchen is the most used resource in our setting, so it was time for another reset, some Autumn magic and fresh coat of paint (Thank you to my amazing hubby Paul for all his help - you can now have the rest of the weekend off😁)

The tigers were the animals of the day at the zoo!
The children excitedly ran to the different viewing areas to get a good view, they also got to see some fast asleep in their beds.
Luckily we took our ‘Tiger who came to tea’ book and enjoyed listening to it whilst having a rest in the indoor tiger area.

Following on from our deer spotting last week and collecting loads of leaves and sticks, we made our very own deer headbands!
We tried different ways to attach the sticks and leaves, using glue, tape and a stapler and decorated them using Autumn coloured pencils - we talked about the deer we saw and how deer have different patterns and colours.
