The U15 cricket team competed in the finals of the PDSSA district 6 aside cup last night. The played St John Fisher first game and managed to score 47-2 wickets. The start of our bowling couldn’t have gone better with Dec W steaming in to take a hatrick in the first over. We managed to win by 25 runs before facing OBA in final. They set us a strong target of 52 to win but superb innings from man of the match Josh B 32 n/o and captain Dec W (15n/o) led the team to victory and the Cup.

Jayden and Alfie in Year 9 have been making good progress in Cricket this summer. Both have been playing junior hardball cricket for a number of years and have been a major part of the school Indoor and outdoor teams. In addition to this they are now playing adult cricket for Hampton CC. Jayden is keeping wicket and Alfie who made his senior debut this weekend, bowled a 4 over spell and took his first ever senior wicket. Great work boys’. Keep it up!
