Holiday Club Adventure at Ferry Meadows!

What an unforgettable day our Holiday Club children had on their latest adventure to Ferry Meadows!

The day began with a woodland challenge as the children worked together to build their own dens using sticks, branches, and natural materials. Through teamwork, communication, and plenty of imagination, they transformed the forest into a world of adventure.

Then it was time for even more excitement as we headed to the funfair! The children's faces lit up with smiles, laughter, and pure joy as they enjoyed the rides, games, and magical atmosphere.

At Nene Valley Nursery Holiday Club, every adventure is an opportunity to learn, explore, and create lifelong memories. From developing problem-solving skills in the great outdoors to building confidence through new experiences, our children are always discovering something amazing.

What a magical day our little explorers had on their trip to Fineshade Woods!
Following the enchanting Room on the Broom trail, the children stepped straight into the story—spotting characters, solving clues, and bringing the tale to life through imagination and play.

From crunchy leaves underfoot to woodland discoveries around every corner, it was a day full of curiosity, teamwork, and outdoor learning—just the way we love it at Nene Valley Nursery

Our wonderful children at Nene Valley Nursery have been getting ready for their next big adventure… and what better way than diving into the magical story of Room on the Broom!

With the help of our interactive whiteboard, the children have been busy exploring:
Matching sounds (what’s real and what’s make-believe!)
Building cognitive reasoning skills
Strengthening memory through fun, engaging activities

It’s been amazing to see their curiosity, imagination, and confidence grow as they bring the story to life together

And the excitement doesn’t stop there… this week’s Forest Friday will take us to the Room on the Broom Nature Trail at Fineshade Woods!
With Sunny the Train leading the way , the children will step straight into the story—spotting clues, exploring nature, and creating magical memories with their friends.
