We are delighted to share the outcome of our very first Ofsted inspection! 🌟

As a newly established nursery, we are incredibly proud of what our children, families and dedicated team have achieved together.

The inspector recognised the warm, nurturing environment we have created, describing Tiny Steps as a place where "children arrive at a nurturing and welcoming setting." The report also highlights the "great sense of community" within our nursery and praises the positive relationships between our staff, children and families.

Our children were recognised for being confident, happy and eager to learn, with a strong focus on developing independence, resilience and an "I can" attitude. The report also celebrates our dedicated team, noting that they "have children's best interests at heart."

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff for their passion and commitment, to our wonderful families for placing their trust in us, and most importantly, to our incredible children, who make Tiny Steps such a special place to learn, grow and thrive. ❤️

This achievement is just the beginning, and we remain committed to providing the very best care and education for every child.

Over the last couple weeks, preschool have been exploring space! 🚀 Today they are making playdoh aliens! 👽 This gives the children an opportunity to get creative, explore different resources and more! 🛸🪐🧑‍🚀🔭☄️👾

This week in preschool we have been exploring under the sea 🐳 the children have used gems and shells to create and follow patterns!

On Monday, the preschoolers took a walk down to the lake 🌟 we searched for ducks and other birds! 🦢 before we set off we took a guess at how many ducks we will find, they said “6” “8” and “a million”, in the first lake we spotted 6 ducks!
During our walk we spotted a “mummy duck” and a “daddy duck” with their “babies” the children counted how many babies they could see! There was 8! 🐣

This week in preschool we are exploring “the ugly ducking” as part of our curriculum! In the tuff tray we have numbers and ducks! 🦆 the preschoolers can explore number recognition while enjoying their play! 🔢
