Tiny Steps Nursery and Pre-School

This week in preschool we have been exploring under the sea 🐳 the children have used gems and shells to create and follow patterns!

On Monday, the preschoolers took a walk down to the lake 🌟 we searched for ducks and other birds! 🦢 before we set off we took a guess at how many ducks we will find, they said “6” “8” and “a million”, in the first lake we spotted 6 ducks!
During our walk we spotted a “mummy duck” and a “daddy duck” with their “babies” the children counted how many babies they could see! There was 8! 🐣

This week in preschool we are exploring “the ugly ducking” as part of our curriculum! In the tuff tray we have numbers and ducks! 🦆 the preschoolers can explore number recognition while enjoying their play! 🔢

Over the last couple of weeks, preschool have been exploring on the farm. To continue with this topic we are exploring healthy eating, today we are chopping fruit and veggies! This allows the children to gain experience and exposure to kitchen aids through using children safe equipment! We have also been talking about different healthy food options and how they help our bodies!

People who help us! Today the toddler room have been busy learning about the people who help us! Today they had the doctors out, this gives the children an opportunity to explore different careers, experiences and role play the doctors and relate through personal experiences!
