As part of a recent visit to 7sqn at RAF Odiham, CUAS students were able to learn about the vital role played by the Chinook.

Students were given a tour of the hanger and aircraft, as well as the opportunity to fly the simulator.

Recently, six CUAS students attended Ex Alpine Challenge, an event run by the RAF Winter Sports Alpine Association in Salbach-Hinterglemm, Austria.

Throughout the week they developed their skiing technique in lessons, culimnating in two days of slalom racing events.

CUAS students took home medals in both the beginner and improver categories, as wells as achieving some great placements in the open category.

Students and staff from CUAS took part in the Remembrance Sunday Ceremony at Great St. Mary's Church Cambridge to commemorate the sacrifice of those who have served and those who continue to do so.

CUAS students were privileged to form the guard of honor at the entrance to the church.

We will remember them.

CUAS students regularly have the opportunity to take part in adventure training with other University Air Squadrons.

We recently had our centenary dinner at St Johns College to celebrate 100 years of CUAS.

This is a huge moment in CUAS history and was attended by over 200 alumni, staff and students. CUAS has opened up doors, provided opportunities and unique experiences for all those who have been (and will be) a part of its story.

Huge congratulations to Ben who has recently earned his Preliminary Flying Badge (PFB) or 'Budgie Wings'.

This represents hard work, skill and perseverance in learning to fly the Tutor to a high standard.

CUAS students recently joined UWAS for an unforgettable trip in Sweden. Over a week, they paddled down the river Hårkan learning bushcraft and fishing skills along the way.

It was a fantastic opportunity to challenge themselves, build resilience and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors whilst strengthening friendships throughout.

We would like to extend our thanks the for their support, as without them this trip would not have been possible.
