Earlier this year, several CUAS students had the opportunity to take part in an inter-UAS trip to Poland.

Exercise Long March saw a visit to Stalag Luft III, a march following the path taken by the prisoners and an overnight stay at the historic Lipna Barn.

Trips such as Exercise Long March are important in remembering and understanding the history of the Royal Air Force, if you want to be a part of CUAS then lookout for applications opening this summer!

A group of CUAS students will be undertaking the Pathfinder March on the 6th of June, an annual 46 mile (75km) walk around Cambridgeshire. The march route visits the former bases of the Royal Air Force Pathfinder Force who were a vital component of Bomber Command during the Second World War.

We are fundraising for Mission Motorsport, a charity that supports veterans, their families, and the Armed Forces community by using motorsport to inspire recovery, rehabilitation, and successful transitions into civilian life. Through vocational training, motorsport engagement, and community connection they help rebuild confidence, create opportunities and foster resilience.

Any donations are much appreciated!

Recently, six CUAS students attended Ex Alpine Challenge, an event run by the RAF Winter Sports Alpine Association in Salbach-Hinterglemm, Austria.

Throughout the week they developed their skiing technique in lessons, culimnating in two days of slalom racing events.

CUAS students took home medals in both the beginner and improver categories, as wells as achieving some great placements in the open category.

Many thanks to for organising such a brilliant event! ⛷️
