Today was the day, for 9 years I have been opening and closing my front door to now over 100 children who all have been members of our family for their time spent at Jayne’s House and will continue to be forever.
But today I closed my door at 5pm to the last family, it has been an extremely emotional and humbling week this last week filled with laughter and lots of tears. I am touched by all the beautiful things our families have said and the amazing gifts that have been made. I know each and every child is growing up to be the amazing unique person they are and they are truly loved by their families.
I have been able to create this environment for the children with two very important people by my side.
Jo, watching you leave tonight was really the hardest part of my week, as it was the last end of work day. You are amazing, you have supported me and my family through all the ups, downs and every inbetween in the last 3 years and beyond when your boys were part of my group of kiddos. You are a true, honest and loyal friend, thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to create our outstanding setting. I can't wait to make some new memories with you in the future....which I know will involve walking. 😆🥰, love you loads. # # #
Paul, behind the scenes you have always been there and still are always supporting every decision I have had to make. The fun ones, crazy ones and the really hard ones, you don't doubt me you just adapt around me. I'm truly glad you have found your new work home as I know you are dedicated to the children and your new work family in the same way you support us here. 🥰, love you billions. # # #

To all our families, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your life's, it is not easy putting trust in someone with something as precious as your child and you allowed us the freedom to help your children grow....while getting messy loads and taking them on adventures to make many memories. # # #

For now Jayne's House is saying goodbye and in January we all have new adventures to explore. Take care everyone, stay safe and it's cliché but.......
