I am NNEB qualified with 31 years experience in childcare. I have worked in a variety of child care settings including a private nursery and school before going on to own and manage a private Day Nursery and now Childminding. I offer a personal service working in partnership with families supporting their children on their social and educational journey. I work in a home environment creating a warm, friendly, fun, caring and stimulating place in which children can play, thrive and learn while having lots of fun. I deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) to ensure all children's needs are met.

Ratios of no more than 1:3 for under 5's (of which no more than 1 under a year) which allows me to provide a more personal approach and cater for individual children's needs. The children enjoy free play (with adult supported learning) , adult guided activities, craft work, music, singing, games, stories and physical play. Children also have the opportunity for sleep or rest. I promote healthy eating and weather permitting, fresh air and outdoor activities/exercise. Children enjoy walks and visits to parks etc allowing children to enjoy and explore the outdoors.
