❤️ Red Nose Day Donations – Thank You! ❤️

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our lovely families who supported our Red Nose Day collection this year 🥰

We asked for donations for our local Women’s Aid charity, who were in need of sensory toys for the children they support. Thanks to your kindness, we received a mix of toy donations and monetary contributions, which allowed us to put together this wonderful collection 💛

Everything you see here will be going to help bring comfort, engagement and a little bit of joy to children who really need it 🌈

Your generosity never goes unnoticed, and we are so proud to have such a caring community around us ❤️

✨ Firework fun at Little Monkeys! 🎆💥
Our little artists have been busy creating firework crafts, painting dazzling displays, and even making their own edible sparklers! 🍫🎨

Through this activity the children explored:
🖌️ Expressive Arts & Design – developing creativity, experimenting with colour, texture, and design.
🧠 Communication & Language – talking about fireworks, sounds, and colours, building vocabulary.
🤝 Personal, Social & Emotional Development – sharing materials, taking turns, and celebrating together.
👋 Physical Development – strengthening fine motor skills through painting, sprinkling, and crafting.

This month we’ve been learning about different life cycles, we looked at the life cycle of chickens. The children used different methods to create each stage of the chicken. They drew around a circle to make the egg, used sponges to stamp for the chick, glued on eyes and beaks, cut the string for the nest and hand prints for the chicken.

Happy Father’s Day for last week to all the Daddies. The children had lots of fun decorating their plaques and making a card for their Daddy or special grown up🥰
