The Peterborough Open Awards Centre (POAC) is a new and exciting hub where young people (14-24) develop skills and enhance their futures by taking on new challenges. The centre runs the Duke of Edinburgh Awards from the new Vivacity Library in Hampton, Peterborough. The course looks to test and inspire young people by taking on voluntary community projects and charity work. Physical challenges are

APPEAL FOR SUPPORT DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE IN THE CATERING INDUSTRY WHO CAN HELP?
For the past week we have been supporting the City College Peterborough initiative to deliver food to some of the more vulnerable citizens in Peterborough.
We are short of insulated delivery boxes to get the food to their homes hot. If you or anyone you know can donate some insulated boxes for the duration of this current crisis please PM me. Many thanks Steve

So our NCS - National Citizen Service course is running well, with our teams at PGL Liddington getting stuck in, even in the rain!

We’ve worked on challenges and team building exercises to develop ourselves individually and as a whole.

Tonight we finished the day with some quality guided reflection, capping off with what each person has achieved and what we have gained.

This years POAC NCS graduates will be graduating this coming Tuesday at Kingsgate Conference Centre in Parnwell at 6.30pm. We are looking forward to seeing you all again
