KickStart Day 4 was another successful and productive day across KSA!

Students began the morning with a variety of activities designed to support both their personal development and preparation for the year ahead. These included tutor-led workshops on kindness and respect, a character development seminar with Mr Whales, and a safeguarding assembly for Sixth Form students led by Miss Mercuri.

Students also took part in a session focused on recognising and maximising opportunities, as well as practising how to line up safely and efficiently during a fire drill.

The morning continued with two timetabled curriculum lessons, enabling students to further familiarise themselves with classroom routines and expectations.

Years 8 to Post1 6 then finished for the day, while our Year 7 students remained in school to complete their start-of-school assessments. The information gathered from these assessments helps us understand each student's strengths and ensures that appropriate support can be provided from the very beginning of their secondary education.

Thank you to all students for their positive attitude, excellent engagement and continued enthusiasm throughout the day.

Another fantastic day at KSA as we wrap up Kick Start Day 3.

Once again, students across all year groups took part in a range of sessions designed to help them develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for a successful year ahead. Activities included Character Development, Ready to Learn workshops, Kindness sessions, Safeguarding assemblies and Study Skills development, with Post 16 students also exploring self-care strategies during exam years.

From Year 7's Character Development session with Mr Whales to Year 11 and Post 16 students refining their study techniques, the day provided valuable opportunities for students to reflect, learn and prepare for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Thank you to our staff for delivering another engaging programme, and well done to all our students for their excellent participation throughout the day.

Today saw students take part in a range of activities designed to help them make a strong start to the academic year as part of our Day 2 Kick Start programme.

The day began with tutor reading sessions for Years 7, 8 and 9, while Years 10 and 11 attended Roll Call before moving into a programme of safeguarding assemblies, kindness workshops, tutor-led sessions on Optimising Opportunities and Being Ready to Learn, and a Behaviour Expectations Seminar led by Mr Swift.

Students then transitioned into their timetabled lessons, followed by Year 7 taking part in more of their start-of-school assessments.

It has been another positive and productive day, with students engaging well and continuing to build strong foundations for the year ahead.
