Dear Customers,
It is with regret that I have to inform you that the time has come where we need to increase our prices. The last time we had an increase was three years ago and over those three years all of our expenses have risen significantly.
On top of our normal utility bills the horse feed has more than doubled, we have had massive vets bills, our riding school insurance has increased and last year the hay price tripled. This is, obviously, not sustainable at our current prices.
This has left me no choice. To survive as a riding school and rescue centre we have to make a shift.
Below you will find a list of our new pricing which will take effect from Monday 8th June 2026.

If you keep checking & pressing on her link you will see how to help & more rescue stories too.
Prides rescue story 💙
Pride is one of the incredible rescue horses at New Range, and his story shows just how much love, patience and kindness can change a life.
As a young foal, Pride thought he was beginning an exciting adventure after leaving his mum… but sadly, it became the start of years of fear and heartbreak.
At first, life seemed okay. He was cared for and fussed over while he was little. But as he grew bigger, people decided he was “too much to handle.” At only 18 months old, Pride was taken away and sold.
What followed were years of travelling between frightening horse auctions, rough owners and cruelty. He was passed from place to place, often without enough food, water or proper care. Training was done through fear, force and punishment. Pride was whipped, beaten and starved, leaving him terrified of people, horses and the world around him.
By the time he was 6 years old, Pride was broken in spirit and shut down.
Then one day, everything changed.
At an auction, while being cruelly whipped onto a lorry, a woman with long blonde hair stepped in and told them to stop hurting him. That woman was Paula, and she gave Pride the chance he desperately needed. She bought him and softly told him:
“It’s alright boy, you’re safe now. I’m taking you home.” 💙
That home was New Range.
When Pride arrived, he was frightened of everything. Although he had a warm stable, food, water and kind people around him, he couldn’t understand why anyone would be nice to him. He spent most of his days standing against the back wall of his stable, too scared even to look over the door.
Paula and the team never gave up on him.
Day by day, they showed him patience, understanding and something he hadn’t known much of before — love. Slowly, Pride began to trust again. He learnt that hands could be gentle, not cruel. That grooming didn’t mean pain. That fields meant freedom, not fear.
Even rehabilitation wasn’t easy. Simple things like tack and training brought back painful memories, and Pride was terrified. But through patience, reassurance, treats and gentle encouragement, he slowly found confidence again.
Eventually, Pride learnt that not all humans were monsters.
He began trusting people, being ridden kindly, and forming bonds with those around him. Although Paula thought he might never be suitable for riding lessons, she promised him something far more important:
A forever home.
Today, Pride is completely unrecognisable from the frightened, underweight horse he once was. He is now 26 years old and has spent nearly 20 years safe at New Range, surrounded by love, care and kindness.
Stories like Pride’s are why rescue centres matter so much. There are still so many horses and ponies out there needing help, just like he once did.
I am fundraising for my favourite riding school and rescue centre, New Range, so they can continue rescuing and caring for horses like Pride and ponies like Tinkerbell.
If Pride’s story touched your heart, I would be so grateful if you could support my fundraiser. Every donation — big or small — helps give animals the love, care and second chance they deserve. 💙

💜🐴Happy New Year everyone! 🐴💜
Thank you so much for all the donations of veggies, fruit, treats for the horses & pets Christmas dinners! We had a great response & the gifts, treats , blankets & towels keep coming, we are always grateful for these… thank you!😀
☃️❄️Be prepared for Winter riding-particularly Pony days! ❄️☃️
All riders & parents -
Always ensure your rider wears plenty of layers of tops and bottoms, thermals or base layers if possible. If they don’t have thermals they could wear tights or leggings under jodhpurs & jogging bottoms, top layers from vests,t-shirts to jumpers & hoodies, it’s all about the layering! Also waterproof trousers are great if you have any & at least 2 pairs of socks (thermal if possible) The thermal in soles /packs in boots are also good & definitely a warm, waterproof coat & gloves please.
For Pony days- Please remember to send a spare set of clothes including gloves & socks in a named bag, so that the children can change in wet weather or when needed.
Warm drinks and soup are also beneficial!
Ponies still need looking after during the Winter, but being prepared yourself is always key!
Thank you, Paula & Carrie-ann
