Brothers David Kozlov and Denis Skudarnov definitely brought the action to the WKO European Championships at the weekend.
David (11) brought home A Gold medal in his Boxing category and 2 Silvers and a Bronze in Light Continuous and Point fighting.
Big Brother Denis (16) Fought in the Light Continuous Heavyweight Section and head kicked his way to Gold in style.
Well done boys 👊

The WKO European Championships.
Well done to the TASK students who took part in the 2 day event held last weekend.
Day 1 was Ringsports day and Day 2 was all mat sport disciplines.
With a team of 6 the team racked up a total of 22 medals.
And 10 of those medals were from Elise Serniak-Taylor who managed to win 8 Gold and 2 Silver medals making her the Top Competitor of the championships which saw her awarded with the championship belt.
Elise was also awarded with a 2nd Belt and £100 for winning the Girls Open Weight Points section 😮
Definitely a good day 👍

The Open Weight Grandslam Point 9-11 years
The Livestream mat is an excellent feature that Jon has put in place especially with the live commentary.
Going up against older or heavier girls is nothing new for Elise, her weight has always been that of a taller older girl so she's fought up since 6 years old.
Now at 10 years old a 9-11 open weight category is spot on for her even with some girls in the +50kgs range.
The final was definitely going to be between the 2 kickers in the category and it didn't disappoint.
On two occasions both girls didn't get points from kicks due to the 3 judges not being able to agree on a score, so Elise decided to score twice with her hands to go 2-0 up then knowing her opponent needed to come forward to catch up she reverted back to the kick, momentarily stopping the fight and putting her 5-0 up.
All the girls in this category came to fight and the skill, awareness and standard was great and I can see these two running this final back numerous times into their teens 👌
